MY BODY IS NOT A WORK OF ART. MY BODY REFLECTS THE ART OF HARD WORK.
— Zane Kono

My story before finding building is one of low confidence, little to no friends, and even less self worth. The one thing I will say positively about myself is I always strived to be the best at everything I did. Whether it be online games like Runescape or Black Ops, or even when I was skiing as a kid, I was obsessed with being the best.

But none of it was productive, Runescape wasn’t going to pay my bills, and I didn’t even realize how bad it was impacting me socially. I always knew I wanted more friends, maybe a girl to be interested in me, but I didn’t realize that one change could lead to many, and that it could lead me to everything I wanted.

Then I found fitness. I originally started because I was just tired of people telling me that I was skinny, or the word I hated most, “lanky.” I weighed 145lbs at 6’2”, so what else could you call it.

I started by going once a week, worked only chest, and went home.

Every. Week.

Repeated for a couple months, and started to see results. Later, it came as a shock to me that there are other muscles I could work other than chest. So I started expanding out. I kept learning and growing (both physically ad mentally). My obsessive personality carried over. I wanted to be the best. It took time, and is still an ongoing process, but I wanted to learn everything and apply it to be great at this new love of mine.

As I saw progress I also saw my life come together. My acne went away (I had tried EVERYTHING), turns out, a bodybuilding diet was the answer. People talked to me, I made friends, slowly became less awkward, and then even girls started paying attention.

It’s crazy how one change can lead to so much, and I could still say a lot more, but I wat to keep this at least relatively short. One thing I can honestly say is; bodybuilding saved my life.

Years later, I can say I’ve learned more than I could have ever known there was to learn, I’ve stacked years on top of years of experience, I’ve competed in 7 shows now, winning every single one, including USAs to earn my IFBB Pro Card. I’ve coached hundreds if not thousands of clients over the years and I’ve earned a Masters Degree in the field I found to be the most relevant to this sport.

I currently work with a number of bodybuilders, as well as high-level athletes in sports such as MMA, Boxing, and I have athletes in all of the “Big Four” professional.

Without arrogance, I can honestly say I am one of the very best at what I do.

This website is a passion project of mine, this site isn’t meant to rake in cash by any means, it is meant as a place for others to find the resources they need to achieve their dreams and their goals.

All of my programs, diets, and e-books are created with my full scope of knowledge and experience. This website is dedicated to always having the best, so if it’s on the site, I truly believe there is nothing better out there.
